Hi, I'm Katie Yarnell

I'm a UX/UI designer based in Michigan. I enjoy working on intuitive, inclusive and aesthetically pleasing designs.

My work as an English teacher in Japan for deaf and blind students has inspired me to work on inclusive and user centric design to make life easier and the world a better place.  Living and working in a foreign country has taught me how important understanding and connecting with people with diverse backgrounds is and I want to continue doing this through UX design.

When I'm not designing or educating Japan's youth you can find me traveling, singing karaoke and playing board games with friends.
